Long time, no post!

I completely forgot I had this blog! I'm so bad.  What can I say, life gets in the way.

Quick life update since my last post: I had my gallbladder removed, and then a year later had adhesions clipped in my abdomen from the gallbladder surgery. Fun times.

I now work as a para at one of my local schools, and am counting the days until school is done! June 3rd can't come fast enough!  I am still working at my group home. I wish it paid more, then I'd just do that.

I'm working on a Mario granny square blanket for my sister, who is expecting! That little nugget will join us next month.

I'm working on getting an Etsy account set up. There is more internet traffic there compared to zibbet.  I will update when that process is done.

I've gotten into using essential oils, and I love them!  I'm going to be making my first batch of lip balm tomorrow.  I've made lotions, and I just love it.  I would love to become an aromatherapist someday! They truly are amazing.

That's all for now, but I will leave you with a cat tax:

Free Plastic Canvas Patterns! (just right click and save!)

Some more finished things I've done.

Crochet Scarf...with pattern!

This is a super quick scarf!  Gauge not important at all.

Materials:
Q hook
Lion Brand thick and quick in your choice of color (1 skien)
Large needle guy (I forget what they're called)

Ch 104
Rw 1:  DC in 4th ch from hook and in each to end (100 DC) Ch 1, turn

Rw 2: SC in each DC across (100 SC) Ch 3, turn

Rw 3: DC in each SC across (100 DC) do not ch or turn

Edge: SC all the way around the scarf ends and sides, ending at last DC from Row 3.  SS into next sc and finish off.  Take the large needle guy and weave in ends!

You can surely add on tassels if you'd like, but this particular yarn I don't think looks too good as tassels.

There you go!

Crochet Concord Singer!

My buddy Andy asked me to make him a Concord Singer doll.  Here is the result!  A very big big thank you to Pixelated Mushroom and her wonderful Dr. Who patterns! http://pixelatedmushroom.blogspot.com

It took a few days, but the end result was worth it!

PC Patterns!

I've been working on a few plastic canvas patterns and have quite a few done!  I'm very pleased with them.  I will be adding in pictures of them soon to my store and here on my blog.  I'm still figuring out pricing for finished products, but the patterns themselves will be $2.00 each.

The one I will be working on making a finished product for is a submarine for my nephew!

Crafts!

I'm busy trying to get my craft biz up and running!

I am working on getting my zibbet page updated with all my recent completed crafts!

Here's a few pictures!

Some of the things I'm working on now are creating some Plastic Canvas patterns (working on a Mustang pattern now!) and getting my crocheting in gear.  I'm planning on getting a booth at the local county fair this summer to sell some stuff. Very exciting!
